I sometimes smile a pretty little smile when I don’t know what’s going on. I worry that my insignificance is permanent; then, I cling to it when I’m given a chance to shine. I love until it hurts. I’m a frivolous oxymoron living in a world of transparent façades. I want to be loved so freely and truly that I’m blinded by passion. I lose myself in the pages of a book more often than I venture outside. I am my own person and nothing can take that away from me.
